Baby Griffin in a Treetop Nest Coloring Page

A fluffy baby griffin, part eagle and part lion, sits in a big twig nest high in a tree with its lion tail curled over the edge. It is a fun way to talk about mixing animals. Try golden yellows for the lion half and browns for the feathers.

Pip’s fun fact

Bald eagles build some of the largest nests of any bird, adding new sticks every year until a nest can weigh as much as a small car.

Try this together

Invent a mixed-up creature together: pick two favorite animals, combine them, and give the new creature a name and a home.
