Pet Turtle Sitting on a Rock Coloring Page

A friendly turtle relaxes on a smooth rock, peeking out with a gentle smile. The shell is divided into large, simple sections that are fun to color one at a time. Try different greens on the shell, or let kids invent a rainbow shell pattern.

Pip’s fun fact

A turtle's shell is part of its skeleton, including its backbone and ribs, so a turtle can never crawl out of its shell.

Try this together

Have a slow-motion race, moving like turtles across the room, and talk about why being slow and steady is okay.
