Letter H – Hippo Coloring Page

A happy hippo soaks in a cool pond while birds, water lilies and reeds fill the scene around a bubble letter H. Older kids will enjoy the many areas to color, from ripples to tall grasses. Try muddy browns and soft grays for the hippo and lots of greens for the shore.

Pip’s fun fact

Hippos spend most of the day in water to stay cool and come out at night to eat grass.

Try this together

Pretend to wade into a pond like a hippo, then take turns naming H words: hat, hop, hug, house.
