A tiny Compsognathus stands on a mossy log, watching a dragonfly with wide, curious eyes. Ferns, a mushroom and the log add a little more to color. Try bright wing colors for the dragonfly and a cheerful pattern for the dinosaur.
Compsognathus was one of the smallest known dinosaurs, and a grown-up was only about the size of a turkey.
Use a measuring tape to find things around the house that are about as tall as a turkey, then compare them to a big dinosaur.
